Role: Scenic Carpenter/Welder
Venue: California Institute of the Arts- E407 Theater
Description: For this show, we create a raked stage, a sliding light tube wall, a tile drop ceiling and a tracking television. The raked stage was scenically treated with MDF floor tiles, and was built with a trap door system that allowed actors to appear from underneath. For the light tube wall, we welded steel frames in order to contain a tracking system, in which each tube had it’s own carrier so that it could move independently, as well as be removed and carried onto the stage.
